Code of Conduct

As we learned from the recent Morgan Stanley corruption probe, compliance programs do work, and they do matter.  Unfortunately, every organization will have its bad apples – it’s the law of averages in a sea of human nature.  But, the best organizations can – and will – protect themselves and the rest of the workforce from being spoiled.  How?  By instituting and supporting a successful compliance program and an ethical corporate culture.

At some point in your role as a compliance and ethics professional, you have probably wanted to know more about what some your peers were doing with their companies’ programs or what other individuals in your shoes might consider “best practices” for particular aspects of their programs. In fact, I would venture to say that our shared thirst in compliance and ethics for points of comparison, or in many cases, points of validation, is endless.
