Co-Founder of ‘Cheating’ Enterprise Pleads Guilty

The US Department of Justice (DoJ) has announced that Tran Organisation co-founder Van Thu Tran has admitted to “conspiring to participate in the organization’s scheme to cheat casinos across the country out of millions of dollars”. Ms Tran also admitted that she and her co-conspirators unlawfully procured US$7 million during card cheats through “specially developed computer programs, concealed microphones and transmitters, and a web of co-conspirators”. Ms Tran will have to forfeit her assets, pay restitution to victims and also pay a US$250,000 fine.
