Anti-corruption Advisor Leaves FIFA

The Bellingham Herald reports that global anti-corruption watchdog Transparency International (TI) has ended its relations with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Reportedly, FIFA refused to agree to TI’s recommendation that FIFA panel members responsible for overseeing anti-corruption reforms should not be paid and should be allowed to re-investigate previous scandals.
