ABC News reports that a court in Guangzhou, China, has jailed Australian businessman Matthew Ng for over 14 years after he was found guilty of embezzlement, corruption, bribery and falsifying records. The charges reportedly followed a dispute Mr Ng had with state-owned travel company Lignan, in relation to the purchase of shares. According to ABC News, the case will strengthen concerns foreign companies have about doing business in China, particularly with state-owned firms.
